Montereau has officially embraced the cutting edge of contemporary creativity. “This is a place where we are shaping the future,” said Mayor James Chéron on Thursday, September 17, at the opening of the inaugural exhibition at Halle Bernier – Montereau’s new digital arts venue, a brand-new cultural space dedicated to immersive art and emerging technologies. The evening continued in a warm and festive atmosphere. After guests had the opportunity to meet and engage with the resident artists, the venue came alive with electronic DJ sets, moving from house to hardgroove. The opening set the tone for a vibrant, inclusive and accessible new cultural hub — a place designed to bring people together while exploring the creative possibilities of tomorrow.
